Enjoyed my stay at Reef island, Fantastic location close to all the main beaches and 2 minute walk to the town centre, shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms basic but very cosy and I liked the large windows. I could see the sea from my window which was great. Rooms nicely decorated. On arrival I noticed room very clean which I also liked. I would definitely go back because this hotel is central to all the fun. No need for taxis. Also loved the WiFi. Never had a problem getting on it. They didn't do breakfast but we didn't mind. Lots of local cafes and 2 supermarkets quite close.

Shower amazing power, beds clean and firm. Went there as working in Truro. Stunning area of beauty. Very crowded in Newquay. Wished there was breakfast served.

The price is very favorable, the bed is comfortable and the heating is very hot. In addition, the location is good, very close to the beach. The hotel staff are also friendly and help prepare hot tea.
There will be stagnant water on the floor of the bath

The beds were really comfortable. Lovely full-length window, sunny & airy room. Very clean toilets & linen. Friendly & prompt staff. Superb, unbeatable location!
The price for the night was £180- which was steep, but understand it was a very busy time - August bank holiday weekend. Overall the location and quality of room made up for it :)

Clean rooms. Basic facilities. Friendly enough staff

Catering was below average but we didn't really mind as it's not the sort of place and we just ate out

Parking is a nightmare though - good luck finding anywhere on the adjacent streets

Most of us used the manor car park - it's free over night - and walked the 3 mins or so to lodge

✓ 9.0 —Fabulous base for exploring Cornwall and brilliant staff.

Whilst there are no frills - it is clean and comfortable. Given we only needed a place to sleep it was perfect.

The outstanding part were the staff particularly Kristina and Daisy who helped me with some non-holiday business.Their customer service went above and beyond.The directors of the blue reef should be very proud of their staff.

Thank you for a great stay. I am still in love with Cornwall.
