Before your arrival
1. Arrivals and Departures

Check-in is from 3:00pm.
Check-out is by 11am so please make sure you (and your belongings) are out of the room by then. If you're late to check out then you'll be asked to pay for another night and your deposit will be held, so make sure that alarm is set!

2. Deposits

1) Guests must provide a £25 cash deposit per person on arrival. This will be held by the reception team until the room has been vacated and checked for damages or theft.

2) If our terms and conditions have been met during your time at the lodge, your deposit will be returned to you in full.

3) Reef Lodges has the right to hold your deposit for up to 14 days if we suspect our terms and conditions have not been adhered to. You will be notified of this at check-out.

3. Identification

Please make sure to bring a valid photo identification with you, preferably a passport, government issued I.D. card or driving license. You'll need this to check in, so don't forget it!

4. Age Restrictions

1) Bookings cannot be accepted from any person under the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by an adult (18 or over).

2) No children under the age of 16 are permitted at Blue Reef Lodge at any time.
No children under the age of 4 are permitted at Reef Island Lodge at any time.

3) Any person between the age of 16 and 18 that wishes to book without an adult present must contact us in advance and complete a parental consent form (available on request). In the interest of safety for all guests, we have the right to refuse anyone under the age of 18 years old at any time (even with parental consent).

5. Cancellation policy

1) To secure the room, payment is taken for the first night (or total booking in the case of one-night stay). This is non-refundable.

2) If the card details provided are not-valid, guests will be notified and asked to provide alternative card details within 24-hours. If these are not provided to reception within this time period, Reef Lodges has the right to cancel their reservation immediately.

3) The remaining reservation amount will be taken 14 days before arrival from the card details provided.

4) If reservation is cancelled after 14 days before arrival or the guest does not show on their date of arrival, the full amount will be charged.

5) Any exceptions of the cancellation policy are at the discretion of Reef Lodges and may be subject to a cancellation fee of 15%.

6) If you arrive a day late without informing Reef Lodges, your room will not be guaranteed. We will try and find you a bed, but this may not be in the same room type booked and may incur extra charges. You will not be entitled to a refund of any nights not spent at Reef Lodges.

6. Payment

1) Please be aware that we only accept Mastercard, American Express and Visa card payments for online bookings. We do not accept Diners Club cards or any other card.

2) Cash is only accepted for walk-in guests or guests that are extending their stay.

7. Room keys

You'll be given a room key and security code at check-in which gives you access to both the Lodge and your room. If you lose your key, it's £15 for a replacement – so please keep it safe.

8. Receipts and invoices

If needed, we can provide receipts for proof of payment of your stay. This includes card receipt and copy of your signed registration form. Invoices, however, can only be provided by our reservations department for groups of 12 or more.

During your stay
1. Guest behavior

1) The comfort, safety and security of our guests is extremely important to us. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or residents will be asked to leave the hostel premises and will not be given a refund or return of deposit.

2) Guests are expected to respect other guests as well as staff, residents and property. Any excessive noise caused by the guest may incur a fine and the immediate removal from the premises. In this event, a refund will not be issued, and deposit will be held.

3) Guest making any noise at all after 10 p.m. including the playing of music will result in the immediate loss of deposit and may incur a fine.

4) Unauthorised guests may not be allowed entry after 10 p.m. Any evidence of guest being brought into the lodge will result in immediate loss of deposit and a fine may be incurred. 24-hour CCTV is always in operation.

2. No smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Reef Lodges building. Any guest found smoking anywhere other than the designated areas, will be fined £50.00 and asked to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be issued for their stay and their deposit will be not be returned.

3. No drugs

Drug use is illegal in England. Any guest found using any drugs, including the smoking WEED within any of the buildings will be fined £250 and will be asked to leave the premises immediately without refund or return of deposit. The building is regularly checked for drug use and 24-hour CCTV cameras are in place. The police will also be notified.

4. Parking

There is no parking at Reef Lodges. You will be fined £60.00 for leaving your car in restricted area.

5. Alcohol consumption

1) No alcohol use allowed to anyone under the age of 18.

2) Guests cannot bring alcohol into the rooms of Reef Lodges. Alcohol is only permitted in the BAR area.

3) If you are found entering a room in Reef Lodges with alcohol you will lose your deposit and all alcohol will be confiscated until you leave the building at checkout.

4) Reef Lodges have the right to ask anyone that is heavily intoxicated and behaving inappropriately to leave Reef Lodges immediately without refund or deposit.

6. Personal property

It is a guest's responsibility to ensure that personal belongings are secure. Reef Lodges accept no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests' property, however sustained or caused. We strongly recommend guests bring a padlock to use on luggage.

7. Damage to Blue Reef Lodge property

1) Guests will be expected to reimburse Reef Lodges for any damage caused by inappropriate behavior during their stay.

2) If charges exceed the total amount of deposit held by the room in question, Reef Lodges has the right to charge card details for any damages or fines you may incur during your stay. These charges can be taken without notification to the card holder however, photographic evidence will be provided where possible.

General information
1. Liability

Except in relation to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, Reef Lodges liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment charges paid to us.

2. Your information

Reef Lodges will only store and use information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out a contract with you, or if you book with us again in the future.

3. Errors and Omissions

Any omission or error in sales literature, web pages/sites, order form, quotation, price list, order acknowledgement, dispatch note, invoice or other documents issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.

4. Discretion

All bookings are subject to availability and Reef Lodges reserve the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

5. Refunds

In the event of Force Majeure (governmental action, transportation interruption, terrorist attack, acts of God…) affecting your booking, Reef Lodges is unable to refund customers and we reserve the right to receive any outstanding payments in connection to your confirmed booking.

By signing our registration form on arrival, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as stated above.
